Overview

 The theme of this book has to deal with time. It deals with time because it goes back in time from when Dave used to get abused by his mother. I predict that his mom gets help and finally realizes what she had done. I am so excited to read this book.

The Hero...

" A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." Christopher Reeve is the person who said this exact quote. This quote means that someone who is a hero goes out of there way to do the ordinary. They do whatever they have to do to get the job done. They don't give up and they will do anything for anybody. I agree to what he had said because the word Hero is a very strong word and takes a strong individual to fill that role. I feel like my dad is a hero because he fills the roles as a father figure and never leaves my side. My cousin also fills the role as a hero because he took it upon himself to get shipped overseas to fight for our country. My grandmomma is also the definition of a hero because she helps take care of people when they are sick. There are many different heroes, big and small, for my heroes all mean something big to me.

It's June 17,2014, Mary Alice, Ampy, and Santiago were playing with the time machine. They set the time to June 17, 2027. They hopped right in and off they went. When they arrived, they was shocked that it really worked. They thought the hometown people were dressed really weird in their summer gear because they were from Georgia, but they arrived in Florida. What really shocked them was that the animals were TALKING! The three of them all looked really lost.  Out of nowhere they heard a little voice talking t them. It was a green lizard yelling at them. Ampy picked him up and he was saying how they all looked lost and he wanted to help them. He showed them around the city. He could drive! Santiago was pretty nervous at having him behind the wheel. He all of a sudden lost control of the wheel and CRASH ! Ampy's mind went blank, for it was all just a dream.
